“Return to me and I will return to you says the Lord” - Malachi 3:7
Program Overview:
The Catholics Come Home program (formerly called ‘Come Home for Easter’) is geared toward inactive Catholics of all ages who are no longer practicing their faith. It is a means to reach out to those who have come to fall away from the Church for whatever reason. It makes no difference whether they left due to lack of interest, or for a more definitive reason. Some reasons may include, but are not limited to, divorce, past hurts, lifestyle issues, relationships, or invalid marriage. This program will provide those who have left the Church a chance to be heard and have a priest and supportive team listen, help them understand what happened, and encourage them along their way back. It will be small group interactions and an opportunity to share in a safe environment.
There is no commitment and a person can come to one or all three of the sessions. An RSVP is not required to attend and the program is free. Refreshments will be served. A follow-up get together over a meal is also planned following the conclusion of the program. Time and date for this free meal will be announced.
If you know an inactive Catholic or a former Catholic who feels separated from the Church, you may also consider providing their contact information and we can mail them an invitation with more information.
