What is Fest Quest?

The purpose of our annual fall parish festival called Fest Quest is to raise funds for the Church and School based on the current needs of the Parish. Each year a specific project is identified to benefit from this event, the largest parish fundraiser of the year.

Funds raised in 2011 went towards repairing the sloping floor in the parish social hall / gymnasium and improving electrical outlets.

Fest Quest Activities

The event brings our parish community together in a fun indoor/outdoor event for all ages. Fest Quest is an afternoon of family fun, activities, and food. It is a good time for all ages from our silent and live auctions to the live entertainment and great food. You can play a round of mini golf, learn about fire safety from the Lincoln Fire Department, play Bingo, take a chance at the Cake Walk, and children can enjoy numerous carnival games

Activities in 2011 included:

Meal – Mr. Goodcents sub sandwiches, soup, chips, ice tea and lemonade
Homemade eggrolls and Crab Rangoon
Performance by the Capital City Cloggers (12:45 PM in the Gym)
Cake / Cupcake Decorating Contest
BINGO
Cake walk
Lincoln Fire Department truck and safety house
Games for the Children: Wristbands will be sold for those interested in playing the Children’s games. Play all day for $5 for ages 4 and up, Free for ages 3 and under. Wristband purchase includes one free round of mini golf.

Numerous items to bid on in the live and silent auctions including items that the Blessed Sacrament School students will be decorating (items include a storage bench, a bookcase, a small bench, a towel rack, a coffee table, 2 stools, and more).
Raffle drawing with cash prizes up to $1000!

All activities are held in the Blessed Sacrament School (1725 Lake Street) throughout the day. Come join in the fun in 2012, we look forward to seeing you there.

We thank You, Loving God, for the generous donors and volunteers who contribute to our Fall Festival. We seek Your guidance, as we work together, to ensure that Blessed Sacrament Parish remains a vibrant, joyful resource in the Lincoln community.
